So, 2 days ago I bumped into a bookshelf in my hallway, and knocked a can of powerful glue onto the carpet and some pants. I didn't realize what happened until a full 11 hours or so later. I used everything I could find to clean the glue from the carpet, and I managed to ruin a small section more in the process. Then I went and bought powerful glue cleaner from Home Depot, and don't know if it really made a difference by this point. Oh well....
But, it's little things like this that can help us appreciate what we have more, take care of things, etc. For example, now, I am not going to keep stuff like this, in addition to paints, etc anywhere near the carpeted areas. Learn from mistakes, do the best you can to fix them if necessary, and move on...
Fortunately though, the spot is not in the main area...
